Hey all,
We’re very happy to announce a new full time member of the Flayl development team. He’s got some killer industry experience, ranging from working as a developer on Fortnite, Unreal Engine 5.2 (shipped features), Hogwarts Legacy, & more. We feel he’s a great addition to the team after a short probationary period & we’re super glad to have him on board.
This is a huge milestone for us, so you can fully expect this snowball to roll fast & grow very quickly from this momentum. You can fully expect some super early pre-alpha sneak peeks in the next few months.
Funny enough, it also happens that Unreal Engine 5.4 official released TODAY & that we will be finishing our migration from 5.2 to 5.4 over the next few days.
We were planning ahead & already have been re-building the game in 5.4 Preview 1 the past few weeks, so it should be a relatively simple remainder of our move to 5.4 left to get knocked out. UE 5.4 has some massive tech advancements that will help us make Flayl a reality without compromising our vision, so we are also very excited about this as well.
Also, Flayl merch? Who would be interested in buying some once available?
