A Survival Extraction Game

We’ve got some super exciting news to share. We got our first round of funding from a private investor & we’re currently in the process of hiring a Senior Lead C++ Game Developer to help us build the core foundational systems of Flayl in C++ with performance, networking & scalability in mind.
What this means is, we will be starting a 6-8 month sprint to get a proper multiplayer combat arena style tech demo done for Flayl. In addition to that we’ve already started the migration process to Unreal Engine 5.4 & have the majority of the process completed already. It should be noted that we are actively pursuing further investors during this process as well.
This tech demo will feature early in development core gameplay systems of Flayl, including our innovative proprietary Pocket Sand Physics gameplay system in its earliest form. With this, we will go to kickstarter again, this time with a playable product, reveal this & release a single player demo with the start of the kickstarter that anyone can download and play, so that people can see what they are backing transparently.
Kickstarter pledges will come with a copy of the game that features multiplayer & basic match making, so that people can be involved in early pre-alpha testing as its available at its earliest stages. Also, we did some brand overhauling, we’ve got 2 new logos for Flayl, a new logo for the studio, and we’re in the process of overhauling the website with tons more info on the game!
We’re super excited about this news & the future of Flayl. As always, thank you for your support, and remember that you can always help support the development of Flayl by becoming a discord subscriber, while getting some cool perks for doing so!
Fully expect some big sneak peeks in the next few months from us.
Thanks for your continued support!
